For all of you who would like to visit Italy but never had a chance to do so...here are a few impressions that might inspire you to visit this wonderful country......
Me piace Italia , I know Venezia but not the other Northern CITIES. it is making me homesick to see all of these but ENJOY IT all, my favorite country you know!! missing was a boy playing soccer in narrow street, but the laundry hanging out side was a real smile!! Tante grazie, ciao Norm
Nice videos... Visiting Italy is in my plans for this year.
for me too :-))
I go next week, a week later, this Summer for my holiday in Tuscany and in the first week of October I visit the famous stone fair in Verona. I love Italy but I also love Brasil ;-)
I've been to Venice, I loved it. And a few years ago I've been on a tour from Napels-Pompei to the south and on to Sicily, that was a great trip! I saw some fabulous temples, I've been up on the Etna and Pompei was the highlight of the tour. Mabye some 20 years ago I went to Rome with a friend of mine. We were looked at as if we aliens..., because of the way we were dressed in shorts and tops. We didn't know the Romans are not used to that... There remains a lot to be seen in Italy of course...
I love Italy too and am lucky that I can visit this country many times a year. I've also been to the area around Naples and stood up the Etna. I can tell you a story about that but not here. My work travels brought me north of Naples on the road to Caserta, from there I drove to Benevento a town and comune of Campania where they make the famous buffalo mozzarella. I also drove in 1 day from the Garda lake to this area using the road along the Adriatic coast and the next day I drove back via Rome and Tuscany.......1000 miles in 2 days but a great drive. I fell in love with that rental car and months later I bought this Ford C-Max with it's huge glass windows :-)
